Badging

This article explains how our badging system works.

Virtual Badging

Here are step-by-step instructions:

AltusLearn will award badges through a third-party website called Badgr. Every Badgr account has a Backpack of awarded badges where a user can access and share them.

Accessing your Badgr Account:

  • After AltusCampus awards a badge, the user can access the Badge by taking one of two actions:
    1. If you already have a Badgr account with the email that you use on your AltusCampus, go to www.badgr.com and sign in.
    2. If you do not have a Badgr account, look for an email from Badgr in your inbox. Badgr will send you a verification email titled “Congratulations, you earned a badge!” Click on Create Account in the email and it will take you to the Badgr website. Follow directions on the website to create an account.

Sharing a Badge on a LinkedIn Profile:

    1. Go to www.badgr.com and sign into your account.
    2. Find your badge in your Backpack on your Badgr account. Click Backpack in the navigation bar at the top of the screen
